Take a good look at Shanghai’s grandeur
Updated: 2014-10-13

Words describing Shanghai’s beauty mainly focus on the leisurely and comfortable style and grandeur, the resplendent and magnificent buildings and its ancient architecture. A visit to the Bund will give you a sense of Shanghai's style and grandeur, while the narrow back streets offer the hidden charms of a decadent city. Here we offer a route to take you through the luxury of those good times, which mixes with the flourishing days and rich scholarly atmosphere.

Day 1: Nanjing Road - Madame Tussauds Shanghai – the Bund – Waibaidu Bridge (Garden Bridge of Shanghai)

The crowded Nanjing Road will give you a touch of the busy life in Shanghai, while Madame Tussauds takes you through a magical journey of glamour with A-list stars “put on display.”

Day 2: Shanghai World Financial Center – Shanghai Science and Technology Museum – Tianzifang Lane – Shanghai Expo Park

A look over the Huangpu River at the modern financial center will give some idea of old Shanghai’s culture, which was born from rivers. The science museum will offer insight into the capricious tech world.

Day 3: Chenghuangmiao Temple (Shanghai Old Town God's Temple) – Yu Garden – Fudan University

While visiting Yu Yuan Garden, you shouldn’t miss the special Chinese cuisine lined up on the street. As one of China’s top higher education institutions, Fudan’s campus has a sterling academic ambience and cultural atmosphere.
