A group of international students gathered at the academic sharing center in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) on Nov 28 to receive academic tutoring and learn from each other.

Organized by SJTU's Antai College of Economics and Management and the International Student Service Center, the activity was aimed at relieving students' anxiety and confusion about living in Shanghai and learning in Chinese.

The speakers, Kandakov Mukhammadzhon, Zhu Zhaoguo and Eva Viola Eklund, all volunteers at SJTU, shared their experiences with living and studying in Shanghai. They also gave some personalized advice, such as how to improve learning methods and adapt to new lifestyles.

The students eagerly asked questions regarding their difficulties, and hope for similar activities in the future.

The Antai College of Economics and Management at SJTU attracts dozens of international students every year, and actively explores new ways to improve the students' studies, and enrich their campus life.
