A group of international students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) spent a delightful afternoon with local children from the Jiangchuan community on Dec 17, 2016 to celebrate Christmas.

After warm greetings to the students, the children could not wait to present them with a singing and dancing performance adapted from their favorite picture books.

Their cute animal costumes, innocent voices and vivid acting brought the stories alive for the students.

The most rousing part of the day occurred during the game "The Best Imitator", as the children were asked to mimic the gestures and facial expressions of the international students!

The students posed in all manner of styles, while the kids tried their best to imitate, filling the activity center up with cheers and laughter.

Time quickly ran out. The students and kids bid farewell and exchanged well-prepared Christmas gifts, leaving each other with an enjoyable and unforgettable memory.

The kids also hoped for more interactions with these "big overseas brothers and sisters" in the future.

This was the first time that SJTU international students have volunteered in the local community. The activity was aimed at providing the students with more opportunities to learn from locals in their daily life.
