Int'l students learn employment skills at SJTU

The Antai College of Economy and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) organized a lecture on career development for international students on Nov 25, 2016.

Attracting some 40 students, the lecture provided a good platform to learn more about practical employment skills, internships and start-up businesses.

Zhou Congyi, an experienced HR representative from Oriental DreamWorks, the Asian branch of the California-based entertainment giant, illustrated real-life cases and shared hands-on approaches and experience for effective and efficient job applications and career life adaptation.

Wang Lei, co-founder local business founding platform of Danker, shared his years of working experience in Fortune Top 500 companies, as well as his start-up stories after resigning from the executive life.

The lecture received heated responses from the students, and many questions were raised during the two-hour event.

The university's Antai College of Economics and Management often organizes job alert activities for overseas students, including visits from enterprises, internships and job fairs, to help them learn more about the Chinese commercial environment and improve their competitiveness.
