A total of 23 students from Dauphine majoring in management will spend four months studying in Shanghai, and also undertake a three-month long internship.

The students will have access to Chinese language proficiency classes, English language academic courses and special lectures given by Dauphine professors.

A welcome cocktail party was held on the same day, with Axel Cruau (Consul General of France in Shanghai), students and teachers from Dauphine and ECNU all in attendance.

Zhou Aoying, vice president of ECNU, briefed the French students on the history of ECNU, as well as offered advice for studying and living in the metropolis of Shanghai.

The students look forward to their upcoming experiences in Shanghai, and extended sincere gratitude to Prof. Denis Darpy, initiator of the program. They also could not wait to take a campus tour.

The Dauphine-Shanghai Program was conceived in 2015, after representatives from the two schools had a chance encounter at an educational exhibition. Since then, dialogues and cooperation have been conducted between the two universities, along with Dauphine joining ECNU's Global China Program.
