Over 200 Chinese and overseas students from Donghua University (DHU) held a party on the afternoon of March 7 to welcome the new semester.

The students immersed themselves in a variety of games, such as "Brain Storm", where teams raced to work out riddles covering topics from academic fields and common life sense.

A "Duck Hunt" game was also actively enjoyed by the students, as they acted like ducks pretending the court was like a pond. Quite similar to dodgeball in the West, one team attempted to throw balls while the other strived to avoid being hit.

An imitation game lifted the atmosphere to a joyous new height, as the participants were asked to stand on foot massage mats and give directions – a "tough" task for their presentation skills, team work and physical endurance.

The party ended with a collection of performances, including a street dance mix presented by student union members and a Chinese song sung by a foreign student!
