Telecommunications giant holds career talk at SHU

The telecommunications giant ZTE held a briefing and recruitment session for overseas students studying at Shanghai University (SHU) on April 6.

The session had active participation by SHU students, especially those from Pakistan.

Wu Yingxian, director of human resources, was in charge of the activity.

Wu briefed the students about the company's development fields, economic benefits, R&D strength, and social responsibilities.

His talk about the 5G network, especially the evolution of the current mobile network into the 5G era which will lead to new business models for ZTE, raised strong interest among students.

He went on to share about some of his overseas work experiences. The opportunities and challenges he met during his nine-year stay inspired some of the young foreigners.

The students eagerly raised a multitude of questions, from asking about ZTE’s projects in Africa to details about the company's social responsibilities.
