The 2017 Overseas Universities Showcase got underway at the Zhongbei Campus of East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai on May 19.

Organized by the school's global education center, the activity is aimed at promoting exchanges between Chinese and overseas students and providing a platform for Chinese students to get more information about studying abroad.

Representatives from 12 schools attended the activity, including the University of Tsukuba in Japan, France's University of Paris – Sorbonne Nouvelle, and the University of Miami, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University and St. Lawrence University from the US.

The booths attracted more than 100 Chinese students and several ECNU staff members, including the university's president, Chen Qun.

This was the second time ECNU has hosted the Overseas Universities Showcase, and the school plans to organize more similar activities in the future.
