According to Sun Bing, dean of the International Cultural Exchange School at SUFE, the program is aimed at providing the students with first-hand experiences of China's business customs, increasing their understanding of Chinese business values, and helping them to promote Chinese and overseas connections.

The students expressed their gratitude to SUFE, their eagerness to learn about China’s unique business culture and environment, and their expectations for the four-week program.

They will set sights on China's hot economic issues and try their utmost to delve more into Chinese business culture, by learning business Chinese on and taking various business trips and seeing model experiments.

Launched by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission in 2008, the Shanghai Summer School has become a brand attracting numerous overseas students to visit the city every year. They take part in a variety of programs held by Shanghai universities to study Chinese and experience Chinese culture.
