Donghua opens reading room for overseas students

A reading room designed for international students at Donghua University in Shanghai opened on Sept 29 with the aim of creating a good reading and learning environment.

Officials and students from Donghua announced the launch of the reading room together before touring the facility. Wu Xiaojun, deputy dean of the university's International Cultural Exchange School, delivered a speech and explained his expectations of the new facility.

Teachers and students spoke highly of the room, saying it will provide a clean and comfortable environment and encourage them to get fully immersed in the shelves of carefully selected books.

The reading room will be open for free from 1 pm to 5 pm every work day.
