Shanghai University and Shanghai Caohejing Hi-Tech Park Innovation Center reached an agreement on Oct 23, to jointly establish a practice base for overseas students.

The signing ceremony attracted more than 100 incubator project organizers at home and abroad, as well as some 20 international student representatives from Shanghai University.

The practice base, which is designed to better serve the society, enterprises and overseas students, will focus on the integration of industries and colleges – providing overseas students with various resources and services, while simultaneously making Caohejing center a better choice for them to nurture new businesses.

A training session for business incubators opened the same day, attracting a total of 14 students from the US, Hungary, Romania, Morocco and Pakistan. The program helped deepen the students' understanding of innovative management, sustainable development, and international cooperation, and introduced them to the trend of global innovation and development, as well as Shanghai’s leading role as a scientific and innovative hub.
