The international cultural festival of Shanghai University of Sport (SUS) opened on Nov 11, celebrating the school's 65th anniversary.

The opening ceremony featured artistic songs and dances staged by the school's ebullient overseas students; Japanese students put on a dynamic dance remix with cartoon costumes, and Vietnamese students played The Moon Represents My Heart, a widely known Chinese melody, with their traditional musical instruments.

Meanwhile, 29 characteristic booths setup by Canadian, Portuguese, Japanese, South Korean and Indian students treated the attendees to a feast of folk costumes, special dishes, exquisite handicrafts and distinctive local activities.

To celebrate SUS's establishment, 65-years ago, the school also carried out a series of festive events, such as an exhibition displaying the school's history and development, a school sports meet, signing ceremonies forging campus-enterprise cooperation and a summit aimed at developing the sports industry.
