The campus of Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU) was enlivened by a New Year party organized for international students on Dec 27, 2017.

After a brief but warm greeting by Song Baoru, the school's Party secretary, the curtain of the New Year party rose with Kazakhstani and Chinese students performing a dance to Jingle Bells.

The festive air was gradually heated up by singing and dancing shows staged by South Korean and Zimbabwean students, while a dance remix featuring Mongolian, Laotian and Thai students was a fitting climax.

The chorus of Never Say Goodbye from SSPU graduates moved everyone present. The students' harmonious voices, along with the countless memories brought back, made the venue a merry environment.

Finally, the event drew to a successful end with the ensemble I'm Not a Laowai, showing the students' love and appreciation of living and studying at SSPU.
