Austrian Consul-General in Shanghai visits Tongji University

A delegation led by Austrian Consul-General in Shanghai Brigitte Robinson Seyrlehner visited Tongji University on Jan 8.

Wu Zhiqiang, vice president of Tongji, welcomed the delegation and introduced them to the university's history and development.

He outlined the fruitful results Tongji has achieved with Austria, such as joining hands with Graz University of Technology and the Vienna University of Technology to cultivate professionals.

Seyrlehner spoke highly of Tongji's sound relationship with Austria and looked forward to the two sides' carrying out more in-depth cooperation in the future.

The delegation took a short tour around the campus, visiting the school's history museum, the German library, the Sino-German joint laboratory, and Graz University of Technology's on-campus international office.
