The exam took place in Seoul, Beijing and Shanghai, the school's headquarter city, and saw an increase of 11 percent in the number of applicants.

A further interview for students managing the written session will be held on May 20, evaluating their Chinese and English language proficiency, as well as other abilities.

Final admission list will be published in June, fully considering the applicants' studying interests and intentions.

Fudan initiated the entrance exams for overseas high school graduates in 2005, the first group of Chinese schools that have introduced in the reform and attracted more foreign students.
