Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) held a party for international students on the evening of July 26, giving them a chance to reflect on their time living and studying in Shanghai.

The night began with song and dance performances, including an English translation of the folk song Jasmine Flower that retained all the meaning and power of the original.

Chinese tongue twisters posed a challenge to many students, while a rap performance by a group of Chinese and international students elevated the mood of the night even higher.

Four students shared their SJTU stories from the stage while other students won awards for their accomplished photography.

The night ended with a chorus of students singing Friends, extending their best wishes to each other while cherishing the time they had together.

SJTU opened the global summer school July 12, attracting 350 students from around the world. Designed to make Study at SJTU programs a popular choice for students, the school offers international students multiple study paths while encouraging them to step off campus and experiences China for themselves.
