The annual summer program on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) drew to an end July 27.

Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the host school, welcomed 32 students for the past four weeks, from countries including Austria, Russia, Malaysia, the United States, Spain and South Korea.

The students refreshed their TCM understanding at the school museum and sought body and mind harmony through doing tai chi and Chinese acupuncture.

They made dumplings and sachets, watched Peking opera and acrobatic shows, as well as talking about their life experiences.

At the July 27 closing ceremony, many of the students shared their feelings about the four-week stay in Shanghai and said they cherished those memories.

Part of the 2018 Shanghai Summer School series, the TCM program is the flagship of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has attracted hundreds of students since its initiation in 2012.
