A delegation from Daegu Joongang High School, South Korea, visited East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) Oct 17.

Daegu Joongang High School was founded in 1952, the same year as ECUST.

Led by the school's principal, Choi Jin-yeoun, the visit was aimed at building a bridge for nearly 300 high school graduates each year to broaden their international horizons and set up a platform for graduates to further their study at ECUST.

The delegation was shown around the campus, such as the library and accommodation building for international students.

A memorandum on student admissions was signed during the visit.

Choi said this was the first time that the school had carried out cooperation in admissions with universities in Shanghai.
